Angel's questions

What sparked you to have a book review blog?
That was actually Whiskey's idea originally. She asked me about it a couple of months ago. I was unsure then, but about a month and a half ago  I decided to just do it. Whiskey agreed and our journey began. It's really fun to write about books on your blog where you can share your thoughts with people who actually read, meet fellow bloggers and discover all those amazing blogs and get lost in books :D

What is the best moment of your blogging journey?
When we got first follower and  first comment. I was jumping from happiness. Haha, I won't forget that day ever.

What is your favorite series?
In the Company of Killers by J.A. Redmerski. I totally fell in love with those books, I even bought paperbacks. I highly recommend to everyone who is looking for an action story with great plot twists and strong characters.

What is your favorite story setup?
Harry Potter! All-time favorite. J.K.Rowling created a magical world I would never forget.

What is your favorite film adaption of a book?
Twilight. I used to love it when I was a teenager, but not anymore. I'm too old for that books, I guess, I'll probably never read it again. However, I was satisfied with the movie adaptation. The book was average, the movie too :D

What is the most overrated book in your opinion? (prefer recent releases)
I don't get the hype over Cassandra Clare's series The Infernal Devices. I didn't even finish the first book. Maybe it's just me, everyone else are loving it. Honestly, I have no idea why it didn't work for me, but it didn't and that's all that matters in the end.

What is your weirdest addiction/hobby?
I like to collect seashells, affirmations, names and beauty recipes from magazines. Also I like to watch birds. Yes, I like to be weird :)

Which book has the best antagonist/evil character?
Leah from Love Me With Lies series by Tarryn Fisher. I hated that bitch, but I have to admit that her character was well developed and in one moment I even felt compassion for her. She is the character you just love to hate, there is no other option.

Are you a writer too? If so, what are you working on? If not, do you want to become one?
No, I'm not a writer, but who knows, maybe one day I write something. I have many stories in my head, but it's hard to write them down and to find an inspiration to write. When I was a teenager I wrote two short stories, but nobody had read it. I kept them secret.

What is the first thing on your bucket list?
I wanna swim with  dolphins one day. That is my long-standing desire and I hope to make it true.

What sparked you to have a book review blog?
wanted to connect with people who like the same books i do, but having a blog alone seemed challenging so i asked my bestie Baileys to do it with me. She said no at first,  but had a change of heart since then. Now she cant get enough.

What is the best moment of your blogging journey?
The first time i managed to make a header i was proud of, and when the author i admire contacted me (i was over the moon).
What is your favorite series?
The Mercy Thompson series by Patrica Briggs! It's so good.I highly recommend reading it if you haven't already.
What is your favorite story setup?
Hard question since my favorite genre is  Fantasy.
But my top 3 are Harry Potter, Lord Of the Rings, and Game Of Thrones.
What is your favorite film adaption of a book?
No brainer, The Lord Of The Rings movies, while they're not perfect they come pretty close to it. Haldir
What is the most overrated book in your opinion? (prefer recent releases)
Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments. I read them this summer and didn't understand the hype. The books where mediocre at best. The story had potential, i admit, but it wasn't executed very well.

What is your weirdest addiction/hobby?
I'm addicted to collecting fonts (I have a few thousand :P) My current addiction is BBC radio 4 dramas. It stared with the adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere and it spiraled from there.
Which book has the best antagonist/evil character?
Professor James Moriarty the criminal mastermind of Sherlock Holmes adventures. A person who is said to be the "Napoleon of crime" has to be on the top of my list.

Are you a writer too? If so, what are you working on? If not, do you want to become one?
I want to be a writer, it's a  big dream, but the current me is not there yet and i there is still much to learn. Someday definitely!
What is the first thing on your bucket list?
    Go to Japan!♥

  5. I actually agree with you guys on the Mortal Instruments series. I read the first three books, but I wasn't as insanely into it as the fans out there. And i don't really feel motivated enough to continue. That being said, I haven't given The Infernal Devices a chance, because of all the love out there if kinda iffy because I don't want to not like it lol
