~Fairytale Survey~

04 March 2014

MEL from The Daily Prophecy made a nifty little fairytale survey, and invited us to fill it out and post on our blog. I really liked the questions, and having a really bad track record when it comes to memes i figured a "no strings attached" two part survey will be fun to do. So here is:

PART I.

CLASSIC PRINCESSES

PinocchioThe boy whose nose grows when he lies.
Is there are book you lie about, because you feel ashamed for liking it?

No. I'm pretty forward on my likes and dislikes. It's pointless to lie, you're only fooling yourself with it.

Beauty and the beastThe girl who fell in love with personality.
Which book do you love that has a hideous cover?

Life In Fusion by Ethan Day it's the second book in the series and the cover is atrocious if didn't know the author (and loved the first book) i would have never picked it up.
Snow white Hunted down for her beauty.
Do you ever buy a book based on the cover alone and if so, what is the last one?

I'm a picky buyer when it comes to paperback, but i let loose when it comes to e-books.
The last one i bought was Geist by Philippa Ballantine the cover is made by JasonChan Art, and it's scrumptious!

Sleeping beautyCursed to sleep, awakened by true loves kiss.
What is your favorite book couple?

Kate/Curran! They have the most real relationship I ever read in a book.
It took them 3 books to actually get together, and they solve their problems in a rational adult way. They depend and trust eachother completely.

Little MermaidGave up on her old life for love.
Do you ever branch out to new genres or do you like to stick with the ones you know and love? If you try new things out, what is the latest book?

I guess it depends on the situation, but I'm pretty comfortable reading anything as long as it's good.
My latest venture outside of fantasy was House of Bathory by legend of Elizabeth Báthory.

Cinderella Who lost her shoe after midnight.
What is the last book that made you stay up all night?

Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen i loved love loved the setting, the characters and the originality of the story.

Rapunzellocked up in a tower.
What are  the worst books you’ve read last month?
Alex Craft series by Kalayna Price. I made it to book three and just couldn't anymore.

Mediocre writing, obnoxiously needy, whiny main character and general poor judgment left me irritated beyond measure.

This is it for my first part in Fairytale Survey, stay tuned from part II.

  1. That's such a clever idea!! I've never seen that kind of survey/tag before. Awesome. ;) I'm hearing such good things about Stolen Songbird. I kind of passed up the opportunity to review it, my bad! I regret that now. XD
