I just need to get this book out of my system, hence the mini review

My best friend recently became obsessed with the TV series Bitten, then she ordered the book (loved it!), then forced me to read the said book.

I really want to say I liked this book, but the truth is, I am so fucking indifferent towards it.
There was nothing appealing about it.

The storyline is mediocre the characters too, are nothing special.
The story is told by Elena Michaels, the only female werewolf who survived the bite(anomaly). She wants to live like a normal human in the city and have a family, she also has some unresolved issues with her pack that provided for her for the last 5 years, and where the closest to a family she's ever had.

I didn't catch how old she is, but I'm pretty sure it's not 15, I don't think that even teens behave this bratty.I would've been more sympathetic towards her past had she not been such a bitch.

The relationship between Elena and Clay was so tiring, she liked him for five minutes then hated his guts, and blamed him for every single thing that went wrong in her life for the next two weeks.

“I don't want to hear your excuses.”
“You never do, do you? You'd rather talk about things I didn't do, then toss that in for good measure when the opportunity arises. Why do I bother defending myself? You've made up your mind about everything I do and don't do, and the reasons I do them. Nothing I can ever say will change that.”

To recap, I am so done with this series. I feel like I wasted my valuable time on nothing.
Oh well, at least I can cross this series of my TBR shelf.
